KATUN ROAD 5 DAYS -CAKOR-KALUDARSKE KAPE-CMILJEVICA
About destination:
The katuns in Montenegro are active from middle of May till middle of October (depend of snow), when farmers move back to their villages. As in all other katuns, the whole life here is dedicated to caring for cattle and to cheese making. Farmers are friendly and hospitably, and they will give you an opportunity to participate in any of the traditional activities that make their everyday life. The food you will eat here is not served in any of the restaurants in Montenegro and it is very tasty and special. Aside from great food, here you can get other services as well, such us: camping site, rental of tents, barbecue, shelter, horse rental, you can charge you electrical appliances and here you can buy variety of homemade products, famous rakija, and traditional knitted socks and vests.

Description:
Day 1. Bijelo Polje- Cakor
Meet a group in Bijelo Polje (at the afternoon) and transfer to katun Jokica, which is located in Cakor. Meet the family, dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Cakor- Masnicki katun
After breakfast, work with Gordana following her schedule (cooking, milking, collecting herbs, in the garden) or just enjoy in spectacular view. After lunch start hiking to the next katun, Masnicki katun. Distance between these two katuns is around 7 km, easy level to walk with fantastic view to the Kosovo, but also to the Plavsko lake. On the way possible to meet shepherds or collect mushrooms or wild fruits. Dinner and overnight in katun Masnicki.

Day. 3 Kasnicki katun-Kaludarske kape- Skrobutaca
After breakfast continue hike to next catun- Kaludarske kape, which will be our stop for the lunch with nice people Biljana and Malisko. After lunch continue to katun Devica, where we will meet our fantastic people Boro and Branka Devic. Dinner will be prepared by them. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Skrobutaca- Mokri Do
After breakfast we are leaving our host and continuing to katun Mokri Do, where we will meet Marica Buckovic and her family. Marica will arrange the lunch, but also for all people who are interested in to learn to knit, she can organize a workshop to educate you to make a fantastic souvenirs of wool. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Mokri Do- Lokve
After breakfast leave Marica and her katun and hike to direrection Lokve, where we will connect with the main road and return to Bijelo Polje.
